Millions pounds are wasted each year in unused medication, our surgery is working with the CCG and PPG to encourage patients to only order what they need and to check their medication before they leave the surgery. Please watch the medicine management teams video for more information on what you can do to help.

Please help us by ensuring you provide plenty of notice when requesting repeat medication, medication requests take 3 clear working days to be processed. Don’t leave it to the last minute to request your repeat medication, use the online or paper request system. I would also remind you that we are unable to take medication request over the telephone.

Pregnant ladies can now self-refer to book to meet your midwife to plan your care , go our website, www.esht.nhs.uk/our-services/maternity/referral. Fill in your details and click “submit”, your community midwife will be in contact with you to book your first appointment.
We are currently unable to provide travel vaccination advice and vaccinations at the surgery, please contact local specialist clinics for advice and help.
New health and social care connect service available to patients.
Some people need practical support to lead an active life and do the everyday things that most of us take for granted. Adult Social Care may provide help or put you in touch with organisations for people, and their carers, who find it difficult to manage daily tasks in the home. Free NHS health checks are being offered to people aged between 40 and 74 once every five years. This check is to assess your risk of developing heart disease, stroke, kidney disease or diabetes. Please telephone the surgery to make an appointment.
