Walk Yourself Fit Challenge

Dr Robertson and the Patient participation group having been working on a local project to help patients become more physically active. At the recent PPG AGM Dr Robertson gave a talk about the benefit of increasing physical activity and how it can help to improve mobility, heart rate, muscle and bone strength, support weight loss. Additionally he said that physical exercise is good to reduce and manage high stress levels and to improve mental health and depression. To make it easy for everyone in the local area to join in with the 10,000 steps challenge the patient participation group have put together a series of short walks that can be done in our local area and help us all to achieve an increase in activity.
